FILTER SELECTION INFORMATION
A variety of hazardous gases, vapours, toxic or nuisance particulate dusts, are generated in typical work place environments. The type and level of contaminants in the atmosphere must be assessed before selecting the correct mask/filters to protect the respiratory organs from the hazard for the predicted period of exposure. Protective equipment needs to be adaptable to satisfy the demands of todays changing industrial situations. Maximask and Midimask respirators are designed to combat specific airborne hazards by fitting interchangeable Uni_Fit Filters, e.g. if gas and dust particles occur simultaneously, simply fit a pre-filter with a pre-filter cover over the required gas filter cartridge for completely efficient, reliable protection.
