Designed primarily for use in street works and it complies with the UK's DETR Safety at Streetworks and Roadworks Code of Practice. Moulded from a single piece of glass reinforced composite, the surface is slip resistant and features chamfered edges to prevent tripping while the underside has ribbed framework for added strength. UV Resistant and impervious to salt, oils and petroleum. Safecover, when centrally positioned, can be used on a maximum trench width of 700mm and load tested to take the distributed weight of a light vehicle of up to 2000kg ie 500kg per wheel. Ideal for working on smaller excavations.
