Colour Coded Mopping Systems
To help identify which colour equipment is to be used in which area, the British Institute of Cleaning Sciences (BICS) recommended a colour coded system as follows:-
Red Sanitary applications and washroom floors
Blue General lower risk areas (excluding food areas)
Yellow Wash-basins and other washroom surfaces
Green General food and bar use
Exel Mop Head Handles
Colour coded, aluminium handles to fit Exel socket, Exel Revolution, Big White and Prairie mop heads.
