Being on your feet all day is a necessary part of the job for millions of people across the UK. In fact, for plenty of people – it’s simply a way of life.

But, from sore feet to sore backs and beyond, there are a huge amount of strains and stresses that can add up if you’re not taking care of your body. No two feet are the same. Some are broader, flatter, and subjected to higher pressure under the ball of the foot, while others may require added shock absorption under the heel. Moreover, safety issues cannot be resolved with foot padding or cushioning alone. For instance, many feet are prone to repetitive strain injury (RSI), which may affect the ankles, lower legs, knees, hips, or lower back. The key solution to this problem is finding the right insoles.

FSS Insoles neutralise and stabilise from the ground up by supporting the arch in the correct location.

Using state-of-the-art scanners as part of our Foot Stop Service, our Wellbeing Through Safety® initiative can identify if you need extra foot support to help keep injuries at bay. That way, workers stay healthy and motivated, less days are lost due to musculoskeletal mishaps.

If your feet are incorrectly supported, or slide backwards and forwards in your shoes, they can soon become incorrectly loaded, which leads to strain. Use our JALAS® Foot Stop Service (FSS) scanner to measure your arch type and pressure points. With FSS, you can easily select the insole that’s just right for you.

HIGH ARCH

The arch of your foot is the area between your heel and the ball of your foot. Some people have higher arches than usual. People with high arch feet may experience problems, which can range from occasional discomfort to permanent skeletal issues.

If you have high arches, your feet will need insoles that properly support them. JALAS Neutraliser Insoles will relieve excessive pressure on the ball and heel of your foot by evenly distributing your body weight.

MEDIUM ARCH

Almost 60% of all people have medium arches.

Common foot problems for people with medium foot arches are heel pain and metatarsalgia (pain in the area of the ball of the forefoot) from repetitive stress and improper-fitting footwear.

JALAS Neutraliser Medium Insoles support the arch and provide cushioning and shock absorption.

LOW ARCH

Many people with low arches, also called flat feet, don’t experience pain or other problems. But certain types of flatfoot can be painful. Symptoms may include leg cramps, muscle pain in the foot or leg, and pain in the arch, ankle, heel or outside of the foot.

Wearing JALAS Neutraliser Insoles for low arches help give more structural support to flat feet. The supportive arch of the insole compensates for the foot’s fallen arches.
