Q: Are your PPE Products all fully accredited to the required standards?
A: Yes - all our PPE products are EC PPE Type Tested & Certificated to the relevant standards including our own brands. Certificates of conformity are available upon request as required by the EC PPE Directive. This is also reinforced by our membership of the BsiF Registered Safety Supplier Scheme.
Q: Are your safety boots available in wide fittings?
A: The standard width fitting for non-safety shoes is an 'E'. Safety shoes in the main are 3E or E+2 with composite toe cap product coming up wider still because of the nature of the construction. We do not advertise these as wide fitting as it could be misleading to the customer as it is personal to the wearer. We find this covers all but exceptional circumstances, where this is not the case, we recommend a specialist wide fit brand or supplier.
Q: Will you be in conformance with the PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 as it is rolled out?
A: We are fully cognisant of our responsibilities and obligations to you in respect of the NEW PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and working closely with the BsiF in ensuring that we will be fully compliant at every stage of it's implementation on your behalf to ensure we will always be ahead of the game in keeping you, our Customer, safe at work. Guidelines for these legislation changes can be found in our Help & Advice section on the website.
