As a business, we are passionate about insuring we only offer quality-assured and fully compliant products and to achieve this we work closely with our suppliers and notified and approved bodies. We are active members of the BSIF Working Group on Counterfeit and Illegal Goods that investigates the prolific incidences of counterfeit and illegal PPE products that are imported to the UK. This working group attempts to eradicate this heinous and dangerous practice by unscrupulous traders and is strongly supported in this activity by the HSE and Trading Standards.

We are also proud to be active members of the BSIF Registered Safety Supplier Scheme. Companies that display this scheme’s logo have signed up to a binding declaration that the safety equipment and services they offer meet the appropriate standards, fully comply with the PPE regulations, and are subject to an annual audit ensuring that compliance with Regulation 2016/425 for PPE is demonstrated, which includes an indicative PPE test. Being part of this scheme also requires us to adhere to a strict set of criteria that ensures the products we sell are genuine and fit for purpose. Meaning, the products we sell meet the EC Type Test of the PPE Regulation requirements, are fully certificated by a recognised EC Notified Body, are safe, and are CE or UKCA marked. To do this, we ensure that we are kept fully up to date about changes in legislation so that our products are always to the latest standards and regulations. We are so proud as a business of our continued support for Mates in Mind as an affiliate and supporting partner in 2023.

Mates in Mind is a leading UK charity that enables employers to improve their workforce’s mental health. 3 out of 5 employees experience mental health issues because of work and we believe this needs to change.

Mates in Mind provide the skills, clarity, and confidence to employers on how to raise awareness, improve understanding and address the stigma of mental health. The charity’s unique approach aims to; educate and inform the workforce, support an organisation in creating the right programme for them, and visibly support the framework throughout the organisation with relevant and accessible communication materials.

We are proud to have supported Mates in Mind since 2019 and in total have donated over £31,766.57 to the cause. Last year, in 2022 we managed to raise an amazing total of £8,282!
