We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment by considering our actions and working with customers and suppliers to find solutions that support a more sustainable way of working.

Built with our customers in mind, we have been working hard to develop our Sustainable Product Award. The Award is intended as a visual indicator of a product's sustainability to encourage and support sustainable decision-making and open up discussions around sustainability in the industries we operate in.

We have developed a comprehensive set of criteria to assess the products across our different categories, allowing our customers to compare individual items. Each product will be individually assessed objectively and scored on sustainability based on the following 4P's:

Once a product has been scored, each 'P' can achieve its own maximum points and will receive an award. Each of the 'P's are weighted equally, forming 25% of the total score. This total score will be the final away of bronze, silver, gold or left unawarded. Yes, products can receive no award at all!

This Product Award is intended as a reliable source of product expertise that improves access to sustainable choices and drives positive change. The criteria set is aligned with current best practices and legal requirements. We will be regularly reviewing the scoring and criteria to maintain the validity and relevance of the Award and an annual review of the answers provided by our manufacturers.
